GARAN Tool for OpenCart 4.0.x
=============================

Adds the GARAN Tool embed (https://garan.ro) to your store:
  - the official EU harmonised legal-guarantee notice, opened in a modal from a
    link on the product page;
  - the EU GARAN durability-guarantee badge on the product page, shown only when
    the producer guarantee for the product exists in the GARAN database.

Installation
------------
1. Admin > Extensions > Installer: upload garan_tool.ocmod.zip, then click the
   green Install button next to "GARAN Tool" in the list.
2. Admin > Extensions > Extensions, choose "Modules", find "GARAN Tool",
   click Install (green +), then Edit (pencil).
3. Configure and Save. Defaults: enabled, notice link on, badge on,
   brand = manufacturer, identifier = model.

No OCMOD modification is used: installing the module registers two events
(Design > Events / Extensions > Events):
  - garan_tool_header:  catalog/view/common/header/after
    adds <script src="https://garan.ro/embed/garan.js" defer> before </head>;
  - garan_tool_product: catalog/view/product/product/after
    inserts the notice link + badge before <div id="product"> (options and
    add-to-cart), falling back to the product tabs, the description tab, and
    finally just above the footer.

Settings
--------
- Status: loads the GARAN Tool script on every page.
- Notice link: shows a link that opens the legal-guarantee notice. Leave the
  text empty to use the default text for each storefront language.
- Badge: brand from the product manufacturer or a fixed text; identifier from
  the product Model, SKU, EAN, MPN or UPC; optional EU country.

Create a free account at https://garan.ro to register your domain, set up
automatic placement rules and use the visual picker.

If you already placed <div class="garan-tool-product"> or the script by hand in
your theme, the events detect it and do not add a second copy.

Uninstall
---------
Extensions > Extensions > Modules > GARAN Tool > Uninstall (removes settings
and events), then Extensions > Installer > Uninstall to remove the files.
